My long-time friend and colleague Steve and I opened our custom photo lab, Photographic Solutions, in 2001 in Norwalk, CT. We primarily processed traditional films in the beginning years and in order to adapt to technology and the changing industry, we started printing digital images. While many of our competitors closed down, we continued to reinvent ourselves. In December 2015, I had a brain hemorrhage that led to large stroke, paralyzing my right side. I regained use of my right leg, but not my right arm. Due to my paralysis and aphasia, I was forced to retire in 2016. I now take great pleasure in photographing the simple things in life. I see color now in an entirely different way.
